By booking a cleaning or using our website, you agree to these terms. We keep them simple so you always know what to expect.

We’re proud to offer personalized, eco-friendly home cleaning services built around what matters most to you. Every cleaning starts with a free walkthrough, a free quote, and a custom plan for your home.

By scheduling a walkthrough, accepting a quote, or booking a cleaning, you agree to the terms below.

1) Our Services

  • Dustermaid provides residential cleaning services only — no commercial, post-construction, or hazardous work.

  • Each service is personalized based on your walkthrough and quote.

  • We use eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products that are safe for families, pets, and the environment.

  • If you prefer, we can use products that you provide in your home. In that case, you accept responsibility for their safety, effectiveness, and any surface or allergy reactions.

  • All pricing and scope of work are included in your personalized quote — no hidden fees.

2) Free Walkthroughs & Quotes

  • Every client receives a free in-home walkthrough and free personalized quote.

  • During the walkthrough, we discuss your home, preferences, and cleaning priorities.

  • You’ll receive your custom quote within 24 hours, valid for 7 days unless the home’s condition or scope changes.

  • Quotes reflect the size, condition, and level of detail requested during the walkthrough.

3) Booking & Payment

  • Once you approve your quote, we’ll confirm your appointment date and time.

  • Payment is due after the cleaning is completed, unless stated otherwise in your quote.

  • We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure booking system.

  • Any applicable taxes or travel fees will be included in your quote before you confirm.

4) Scheduling & Access

  • You’ll receive an arrival window to allow for routing and travel.

  • Please ensure safe and timely access — you can be home, leave a key, or share a door/garage code.

  • If our cleaners cannot access your home at the scheduled time, a lock-out fee of 50% of the quoted service may apply.

5) Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • 48+ hours’ notice: cancel or reschedule at no cost.

  • Less than 48 hours’ notice: $50 late-change fee.

  • Same-day cancellation, no-show, or lock-out: charged at 50% of the quoted service cost.

  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to paused scheduling privileges.

6) Changes or Extra Time

  • Your quote is based on the home’s condition and details shared during your walkthrough.

  • If new areas are added or heavy buildup requires more time, we’ll contact you first to approve additional time or cost.

  • You’re always informed and in control — no surprises or hidden adjustments.

7) Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If something was missed, notify us within 24 hours.

  • We’ll return to re-clean those areas at no charge.

  • Refunds aren’t offered, but we always make it right.

8) Safety, Pets & Fragile Items

  • Our team members are trained, insured, and background-checked.

  • Please secure pets before service.

  • Dustermaid is not responsible for:

    • Pre-existing damage or normal wear

    • Unstable or improperly mounted items

    • Fragile, antique, or specialty pieces that require professional handling

9) Exclusions & Limits

We do not:

  • Move heavy furniture or appliances

  • Handle mold beyond routine mildew

  • Clean hazardous materials or infestations

  • Perform high-ladder, exterior, or roof cleaning

10) Supplies & Products

  • We proudly use eco-friendly Dustermaid-approved cleaning products for every job.

  • Clients may request we use their own household products instead.

    • Products must be provided and accessible at the time of service.

    • Dustermaid is not responsible for reactions, damage, or reduced performance when client-supplied products are used.

11) Photos for Quality (Optional)

  • With your permission, we may take before/after photos for training and quality control.

  • No personal or identifying items will ever be shown.

  • You can opt out at any time.

12) Privacy & Website Use

  • By using our website, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement.

  • All website content, branding, and materials are owned by Dustermaid and may not be reused without permission.

13) Policy Updates

We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. The version posted on our website at the time of your booking will apply.
